beautiful beautiful shot, to be honest it's much cleaner and nicer than reality ;)

C'est fantastique!! I've always found it cool with your Tehran/Iran shots, how its like a thriving city in the middle of a mountain range.

gorgeous shot - love that depth of field!

Nice use of space and lines

stunning, I was at the exact spot today, it had bluish color range though.
Why is the guardrail in bottom left blured ?

Moody and relaxing at the same time .... great shot

Posted by IanSMcN at July 13, 2004 06:54 PM

Bit dull though.

Posted by Anton Fig at July 13, 2004 07:31 PM

Being stood next to a road is neither "moody" nor "relaxing". You should try leaving the house sometime. Perhaps you could do some more stuff in sepia tone as it seems to leave people gasping for superlatives. Nazanin, I'm sorry. I'm sure your country has more to offer than this - it could be anywhere.

Posted by Anton Fig at July 13, 2004 07:39 PM

It could be anywhere, but isn't that the point? It is not the where that matters; it is the emotion that is composed in the frame. 'Capturing the beauty of the everyday' is how I like to think of it.

A stunning picture!

to Anton Fig
I don't see why you apologized to me. you are entitled to your opinion. mine was a personal one. the shot might appear to your (probably trained) eye as being possibly anywhere, but to me this is somewhere i know intimately. but anyways, in the end the shot has something for each of us, albeit for different reasons, right?

Posted by nazanin at July 14, 2004 07:53 PM

GREAT!I love the angle of this shot..& colour of sky also NICE!!!!!!
