There is also an alignment problem. Some texts which are supposed to show up right-aligned, are simple left aligned.
Posted by Ali at February 10, 2004 05:14 AMWe should submit as many bug reports as possible, to Apple.
Posted by Ali at February 10, 2004 05:14 AMIt also seems that the only font that shows up properly is Times New Roman! Does that give anyone a clue?
Posted by Ali at February 10, 2004 05:18 AMI sent bug reports to Apple, waiting for the next release! Though this problem is not for all the Persian pages.
Posted by Shaahin at February 10, 2004 02:08 PMAlmost all Persian pages that don't use the Times font show up with problems in my Browser
Posted by Ali at February 10, 2004 04:15 PMSeems that Safari 1.2 has more bugs than we thought: According to Apple, there is also a rendering bug related to CSS: if a replaced element (i.e., an image) is too wide for its container, Safari 1.2 will become confused about margins occurring lower on the page.
Apple’s Safari team announced that they have fixed the bug. Now that’s fast work. Panther users, look for an updated version of Safari soon. I hope they adress the Persian problem in their update too.
Posted by Ali at February 13, 2004 10:33 PMThanks Ali, I am waiting for the update!
