Toronto is ...
... a feeling !
Sam please please please do a book. A nice affordable book. Make several books each covering a couple years of your site. I, as well as others I'm sure, would pick it/them up in droves!
Posted by Elvis Rowe at June 6, 2013 01:11 PMGreetings from Romania! I'm enjoying your photos from the day i found the blog. And it gets much more special when my trips to Toronto bring me the places I've seen here.

I found your blog just over two years ago, and ever since have looked forward to your captures appearing in my inbox every morning. As a hobbyist and enthusiast I have been inspired by my daily dose of your imagery. I am also a Torontonian, and however unsuccessfully, have attempted to recreate some of your shots (mimicry being the sincerest form of flattery). Perhaps more importantly your influence has helped me expand my horizons when composing shots, when viewing my surroundings and the people in them. Although we've never met, I have learned much from your 'eye to the world'. You are a strong influence in what I consider a formative time in my foray into the world photography.
Grateful regards,
Laura
Sam,
"Daily Dose of Imagery" has been to me a source of inspiration and entertainment, and the chance to get to know one of the most vibrant cities in the world. I have appreciated your tips and technical information, and have enjoyed your unique style and sense of humour.
I return to your images time after time, and always enjoy your artistry.
Much love,
Bluefunk
I came upon your site in 2006. I had a long way to Toronto, and I hated almost everything about it, most of all, lack of vibrancy relative to other cities I had visited or stayed in. Your pics taught me to start appreciating things. I took your site in, and eventually the I accepted the city too.
