astonishing that you did it with such a small camera and this program
that's so cool I did exactly the same shot with my nikon V1 + AS-F 70-300. but I did it freehand and it isn't that sparkling like yours. great shot!
Nice, it will be interesting to see your shots with the 100-300. I have been considering one for my GX1, the extreme telephoto reach seems like it would open up some new perspectives
I am over the moon about this photo.
Awesome moon shot! I feel compelled to comment each day now. I so enjoy your photos. Will be sorry when it's over, but I certainly understand. I did photo-a-day for three years before I burned out. :-)
10 years! and your photography is still as fresh and enjoyable as when you first started. You have been a wonderful visual reminder of how beautiful a city can be if you know how to look.
Thank you for all your work and the occasional glimpse of your own life.
You truly are a splendid photographer!
Great shot. I love my GX1 enough to put up my Nikon D90 & related equipment for sale.
Excellent exposure - I find moon photography tricky at the best of times so can appreciate the effort and skill involved in this composition.
Re: Your 'announcement'.
Sam, I have enjoyed your daily photos for most of those 9 years. I have marveled at your photo skills and your dedication to publish them daily. Congratulations! I'm looking forward to your new project.
Love it! La Luna as the Death Star!
Amazing detail and Clarity.
I recently took a moon shot with a D7000, 18-200mm, Lens F36 ISO 100. No where near as clear as yours, i really surprised at the difference from 200mm to 286mm of course completely different technologies between Panasonic and Nikon but the results and quite different, actually disappointed in my Nikon setup performance when looking at this.
