Uhm, I like it!
Posted by JoaquĆn Arias at June 3, 2008 03:18 AMA wonderful picture. It reminds me of something, but I can't say of what....
Amazing sky! Almost the same like we had every evening during the last week (here in Germany).
Have I told that ddoi is my start page on Firefox? ;)
Posted by caro at June 3, 2008 05:19 AMWow! Very cool
Posted by Navin Harish at June 3, 2008 05:45 AMWow. What a stunning picture.
Posted by Graham at June 3, 2008 06:35 AM28 days later?
Posted by jacobsan at June 3, 2008 07:38 AMI've never seen the DVP completely empty. This must be every drivers dream!
Posted by Pete Ware at June 3, 2008 08:22 AMWow, awesome shot. Not many chances to catch a highway like this empty.
Posted by Sarah at June 3, 2008 08:58 AMGreat lines in contrast with the sky.
Posted by Jay at June 3, 2008 09:04 AMThe more I look at it, the more eerie it feels. The dark skies and the completely empty highway, gives a very deserted feel.
Do you have to do much correction for any barrel distortion @12? I'm also curious how much PP was performed.
Posted by Matt at June 3, 2008 09:12 AMvery clear, beautiful, precise shot. i like it. good job!
Posted by jessica at June 3, 2008 09:33 AMHello Sam,
Your work is really inspiring I check your photoblog three times per week and I'm amazed how simple, clean, non over-work your photography is.
Thanks for sharing your work.

Rare to see a highway like this empty, but if it was closed then understandable, great photo as always.
Posted by Ed O'Keeffe at June 3, 2008 05:40 PMLooks like everyone's gone to the moon.
Posted by jimb at June 3, 2008 10:22 PMVery unique photo... anyone from Toronto will recognise this as rare opportunity for such a shot
The seemingly active clouds give great contrast to this unusually empty road.
Thanks for your amazing site, for me living far away in Sydney these days, you provide some great views of home.
Posted by Calvin at June 3, 2008 11:44 PMNice capture, the ride was good fun.
What is that in the sky near the middle-left, something on your lens or.... a UFO?
Whoa it is creepy to see a freeway this empty. Great shot!
Posted by eric kim at June 5, 2008 07:02 PMGreat shot. I was there for the ride, but didn't take advantage of the picture taking opportunities.
