Who'd've thought that such beautiful curves and contrasts were just a few stones' throws from boring rectilinear monochromatic (make that no-chromatic) snowy King Street?

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT when the weather gets just right to gloss over the rocks on the beach w/ shiny thick ice! Lovely... It's been a couple winters since I've been down there for a walk and your pic was a reminder to visit Toronto places I love!

One year the ice on the rocks was thick enough to break off in large sheets and we took pictures of the ice shapes as hats!
