We had clouds similar to this here in Manchester a couple of days ago...although when I processed my RAW files to black and white they didn't look like that...maybe you processed them in a way I am not used to, the "convert black and white" adjustment in the image menu of Photoshop may have been used I'm thinking.
Processed or not I love the photograph and have no put this building on my "go and take its picture" list. Well done.
Posted by Ed O'Keeffe at January 8, 2008 03:17 AMInteresting angle of the ROM. The clouds make it quite dramatic.

Posted by james | studiosushi at January 8, 2008 08:39 PMReally interesting photo. You have posted several images of the ROM but each one seems to have its own uniqueness, great shot. One of the first things I thought when I saw this photo is that I wanted to see the original to see the difference in the clouds. Like people above me pointed out, it really makes the picture look very dramatic.
Posted by Alex at January 8, 2008 09:00 PMHoly moly - that is one awesome picture. It takes my breath away.
Posted by Hecticmom at January 9, 2008 12:14 AMCool!
How did you get the clouds to look like that?
speechless, this is awesome, man.
Posted by Mohamadreza at January 9, 2008 04:01 AMIncredible sky !
Beautiful !
This is incredible. The sky almost looks textured. I'm also amazed that you were able to shoot this without a single person or car in the shot.
Posted by 24by36 at January 10, 2008 10:25 PMAmazing forms, looks great with this sky. Well done :)
Posted by jump at January 11, 2008 03:28 AMCool shot. Love the contrast between the hard and soft patterns.
Posted by Oswegan at January 15, 2008 05:00 PMLove the sky here! The contrast between the patterns in the sky and the more "organized" patterns in the building are great.
