amazing. so much conveyed in this. it feels so lonely.
Posted by buyable at February 21, 2007 02:42 AMGreat composition. The tone of the sky is fantastic. The diagonal streak across it moves my eye naturally down into the rest of the frame.
Posted by Abe at February 21, 2007 03:02 AMWow. I love these brown and desaturated tones in your images. Well composed, sharp as always. Rock on !
Posted by kwerfeldein at February 21, 2007 03:39 AManother great shot ! But my personal preference goes out for the previous one.
Posted by Maarten at February 21, 2007 06:17 AMThis is really wonderful. Every element is perfect.
I've seen increasing numbers of summer photos, including my own, I suppose that means we are all getting tired of winter.
Posted by Laurie at February 21, 2007 06:21 AMGreat quality sharpness and use of lines! Perfect composition. You sure know the art of capturing emotion on "film". If you would like to contribute some pictures to our site for artistic photographers, we would be more than happy! Our screeners will give you useful feedback on every photo you upload and we will post your photoblog-address so that even more people will have the pleasure of finding it! This usually means a lot of new visitors! Hopefully you could find some inspiration there too. Take care! // Ralf
Posted by Ralf at February 21, 2007 07:10 AMThe boy is sitting in exactly the right spot, lightning is great and I love how the boy is calm yet the sky is dramatic at the same time.
Posted by Ralf at February 21, 2007 07:11 AMYou're killing us with these beach pics!
Posted by Jeremy at February 21, 2007 08:11 AMI've been finding the posts of Brighton to be exceedingly dark. Black water, nearly black sky, extreme contrast. Not much detail visible.
Have you intentionally darkened these? It's not very interesting.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at February 21, 2007 08:16 AMFabulous Shot Sam! great to see brighton pier from a different angle
Posted by Ryano at February 21, 2007 09:11 AMGreat color saturation and nice composition. I really like this one.

Posted by Kiana at February 21, 2007 12:41 PMThis picture is amazing. I love the tones and the way the color just seems "dreamy"

Posted by Mohamadreza at February 21, 2007 07:01 PMBonjour,
Well done shot! Nicely composed..Good use of lighting! Bravo!
Someone mentioned that this feels lonely. To me, it feels relaxing & fun. Nobody fishes under a pier unless they know the habits of fish. It looks like a warm sunny day to me - this boy is probably having a great time. Nice tones & texture. I like everything about this shot.
Posted by Photo Buffet at February 21, 2007 10:00 PMNice picture. I have been to that peer. Expecially beautiful at night.
