Wow. I said that out loud upon seeing this processing!
Posted by RyanK at January 26, 2007 01:22 AMLovely, Just perfect...
Great shot. The sky is lovely. Did you shoot it at a high ISO
Posted by navin at January 26, 2007 03:04 AMCool picture. The clouds in the sky make the picture look not as hot/warm as it probably was.
I live near Brighton and am loving your series of photos from the city.
I just thought I should make it clear to other interested viewers (who may see the beach at Brighton to be sandy) that the "beach" in this photo is not a good representation of the majority of the beach which it just pebbles.
Keep the Brighton photos coming. Im intrigued if you have any of the cool buildings or people.
Ahhh... that looks nice and warm! Great one again!
Posted by javga at January 26, 2007 04:23 AMHey, did you use a polariser on this one? If so, what type?
Thanks - great photo, BTW!
Posted by JP at January 26, 2007 04:52 AMRelaxing. I would lay down and look at the clouds chasing each other. Cool.
Posted by maryam at January 26, 2007 06:07 AMWow, wonderful picture. dude you rock.
Posted by sriram at January 26, 2007 06:15 AMI can't believe you'd chicken out due to the cold.
On the other hand - when no one is paying you to freeze for art.
I suppose cool, damp England will have to do. Rather a drab scene though.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at January 26, 2007 09:02 AMFunny enough, there isn't anything obvious to say this pic was taken in England ... "almost" lookes like the Beaches district in Toronto
Posted by Ian at January 26, 2007 09:21 AMDon't be fooled - there's no sand on the beach at Brighton. It was imported from Netherlands or somewhere for a beach volleyball competition.
Great photo with fantastic clouds and sky, nonetheless.
congrats on the bloggies. i'll be voting for you. i was hoping to get in there, but not enough nominations. i'll shoot for next year.
Posted by blaine at January 26, 2007 10:34 AM..I love this one...specially the clouds..
Posted by Andreas at January 26, 2007 10:55 AMThat is stunning. The clouds really make this shot more dynamic, and I love the red tones of the bricks. If I was there in person, I would probably look at the people more than anything else, but this shot really brings the viewer's attention to the sky and the buildings. Nice work.
Posted by Kimberly Way at January 26, 2007 11:10 AMMmm . . . summer. Nice shot!
And congrats on the Bloggies nomination. I voted for you!! =)
nice pic..something to keeps us warm inside while it is -30 degree outside!
Posted by W at January 26, 2007 11:23 AMany jane austen fans?
i've never seen pictures, but i've read a lot about this beach...
literature comes alive.
Posted by celeste. at January 26, 2007 11:27 AMmmm warmth.. nice shot.. unconventional for you, they're usually not so busy. but i like.
Posted by langford at January 26, 2007 11:31 AM
Thanks for this! We are frozen solid, the windows are iced up, the car is creaking - even a cold UK beach looks like tropical paradise today. Nice colours in this shot.
oh how i miss summer :(
Posted by mel at January 26, 2007 01:50 PMNow this is just cruel...we're having the coldest weather in 2 years and you tease e with this? Sigh...well it gives me something to look forward to.
Beautiful shot.

Posted by Abe at January 26, 2007 09:07 PMThe weather isn't much better today in Toronto either... what a beautiful picture this is though. The sky looks amazing; the blue is so incredibly deep, with the red brick as a wonderful contrast. I love it!
Posted by Peter In Toronto at January 27, 2007 05:30 PMVery nice - looks like an HDR photo to me?
Posted by Skye at January 28, 2007 01:22 AMVery good shot!
