Great light, and I really like the inclusion of the green shuffle board court. It complements the orange nicely. The wide angle lens distortion has a weird effect on the lamp posts. They look paper thin.
Wow, what an awesome exposure. Great job, I love the colour and simplicity. You'd never think this would be looming over our heads downtown for all these years. I need to shoot photos from tall buildings too.
That sky looks awesome! Too bad I also know what it dropped on us today = (
Nice colors. I admire how you can change a pretty normal-looking scene into a striking, er, "landscape." I also like how the shuffleboard (?) lines lead your eye to the blazing sunset...
What focal lenght was this taken at (35mm equiv.)?
I like how the lights contrast with the sky, and how the sunscene is reflected by the windows.
Very magnificent sunset! Love how the orange was reflected in the glass doors and became even more saturated.
aw man, i want to play that game...
i really like the coulours and the sky is amazing
you should have seen it here in chicago like two days ago
I think you so like "clouds"
Great! As all your shots. I'm quite addicted to your blog ;)
That makes me want to shoot on a rooftop! Great shot and angle ...
Wow, can notice that you're a lot closer to the clouds ;)
Really nice picture.
Very nice composition, view and lovely colors.
Slightly strange how the reflection in the windows seems more intense than is visible in the sky. No idea what that runway is for, I cannot even imagine the game.
Very nice clouds. I like how they span cool to warm - gives a foreboding sense.
Nice reflection in the window of the sky.
Great sky. love the colors
Shuffleboard is awesome. And this picture is quite lovely, as well.
Living on higher grounds!
Have a great and sunny weekend!
i see your photos every day
thats too beautiful & full of meaning.
I like this one, whats the green mat for?
WOW, I've been to that shuffle board countless times and I've never seen anything as wonderful as this picture.
Nice contrasting colors: dark blue sky and orange sunset.
the skewed lamps kind of wreck it for me... i think i'd like it better without straightening.
Now that looks like a walkway not a rooftop. Really great image.
Very nice. Colors are amazing.
Great contrast in this image, love the saturated clouds and how you have retained detail in the foreground. Very nice!
Looks like it might contain a lot of seniors who play shuffleboard. Not the most elegant luxury roof but practical. I suppose there's a laundry behind the glass. What I do notice is there's no people there. The blue color of the sky is quite unreal. Can't say I've ever seen such a shade in 74 years.
Very nice. Love the reflections in the windows. btw where is this building located?
Is the disortion here via lens or Photoshop transformation?
Amazing sky! Is that shuffleboard??
I remember this building, isn't it across from the World's Biggest Book Store? I believe it is... Edward St.? It has a jacuzzi on the left side too, behind that structure right? Very nice photo
Playing shuffleboard into eternity........
Wonderful shot. The colours are amazing. I love the 10-22. How much was that lens when you bought it? I was also wondering how you get to all these hard to reach places, like rooftops and such. It seems like quite the feat.
Your rooftop is acccessable?
damn, i wish mine was. they need more roof top gardens, and open rooftops here in toronto, it would make thigns so much more fun.
I can imagine that it probably gets very windy up there :) .. but otherwise a nice place, especially with such dramatic sky overhead
Love the colors, great shot
I go with Hans,you have great vision.Sam.
Wowwee the roof looks like fun, and i love the colours of the sky. whats that drawn on the ground though?
Have been visiting for more than a year now but first time commenting. This picture almost makes you wanna run on the green surface into the beautiful sky :) Great pic.
Isn't it ironic that so many of your viewers comment on how beautiful the sky, the clouds and the sunset appear in this photograph and how talented you are in creating this image without ever giving a moment's thought or praise or thanks to The Creator- God Almighty- who is responsible for creating this scene in the first place? Let's stop for a minute and give credit where credit is really due. P.S. this is not to minimize the beautiful work you do but just to keep things in proper perspective.
Incredible sky and light. Love the window reflections!
That's my favorite in a while.
could we see the original, un-photoshoped photo? It would be very helpful to see the type of edits that were conducted. Thanks!
Not sure how you get such clear hand helds...I shake like I have an ongoing paternity suit with the Ali family.
My hometown has new lamp standards on Main St. similar to these; I hope to get there for a shoot next week. Hopefully, I can muster something near this quality. Well done...!
Wow - so vivid - looks like HDR.
that's insane! i can't believe how amazing that photos is! that sky! those colours! that reflection! wow! if the foreground was a bit more interesting it would be a million dollar shot...
