Posted by alice at November 1, 2005 08:15 AMCongratulations on your new record. It was well deserved.
Today's photo also deserve lots of comments because it's fantastic. The composition, the tones, the balance, everything is just amazing.
Nice shades of blue. Gives you the feeling of space, unlimitedness.

Posted by andy at November 1, 2005 12:22 PMSo what´s new about those clouds?
Posted by tE at November 1, 2005 01:31 PMmy favorite shot of yours in a while. however, this crop is a good example of where the fixed width photo format doesn't work (even at 1600x1200 it doesn't fit in the browser!). in comparison, yesterday's photo seems tiny.
Posted by paul at November 1, 2005 02:48 PMGreat shot! As I was scrolling down to find the bottom of the photo, I could almost feel the sky stretching over top of me.
Posted by Beth at November 1, 2005 05:44 PMit still amazes me to see how continuously smooth the gradation is in the sky. I can never achieve this.
Posted by payam at November 1, 2005 07:31 PMreminds me of a chessboard.
or cotton puffs.
regardless, it's pretty damn cool.
I love this particular shade of blue, such a lovely expanse of sky!
