Good timing and great shot! A school field trip? The badlands must be such an interesting place to shoot at.
is that the same format of widget as of Konfabulator? I tried it but it didn't work. But it looks like something that can be easily ported that so useful for windows too.
I enjoy your site, looks like we are all feeling summer.
nice shot. again from badlands! lol
It's funny to see exactly the same kind of weeds in your picture as I am used to seeing here, on the other side of the globe.
Wow! I didn't realize Canada had such interesting geology. The yellow bus is a great little addition--makes you wonder where the heck they're going.
Hey Sam, It seems Google is having problems with your site. till friday searching "top left pixel" on google gave your site as the first link, but today its no where in the search results.
This is an amazing picture.
These badlands are truly spectacular. I still find it hard to believe you're not using filters or tweaking the colours on the computer because they are so intense. Up to now, I thought the only badlands were in Alberta. Thank you for educating us on our local geography!
AWSOME pic.. i love it, and i love the widget (works great)
and i love YOUR PICS!
Nice colours, but otherwise a bit boring for me.
I like your website, your pictures are great! I take every day a look on your site to see wath for new Pictures it has. I think I have to made some holiday in Toronto, to see some of this Place in real!
I find it a bit irritating that itis impossible to view the whole image on screen at once. Not even with larger resolutions.
Sure is intense sky. You using the polarizer here? The sky seems too blue for normal.
Interesting image however. What looks like pure white person to right of bus is a puzzle???
Another beautiful photo of the badlands. Your caught that schoolbus at the perfect spot. Looks like the kids had a field trip.
Love the saturated colours... and variety of colours.
like the shot.. but i like the other badlands shot better.
Great picture =)
in portuguese we say: "Mandou muito bem!" (You did it!)
Nice timing to get the bus between the trees.
Wonderful timing indeed, and rich tones to boot. Nice one :)
i remember we were driving back from Hawekestone, by Barrie.. returning home from this sort of, reckless camping trip... and by reckless i mean, how a camping trip should be.
so yeah, made up this route to get back to Guelph, ended up driving past these.. The roads are so windey, and loopy.. That Huge drop right by these, scared the crap out of me. Felt like the car was hanging in the air for a few seconds.
There is so much good in this foto. The bush in the foreground gives a tremendous sense of depth to the whole shot. The white, chalky color over the earthy rock provides great contrast. The trees are vivid and rich, and the sky is intense. The bus is a bonus. Nice job!
Great job Sam! Play it again!!!!!!
Wonderful Colors and beautiful flowers!
I would like to feel the sun shown on this picture.
