I love this one. Great perspective and Depth of Field. Colours, lighting, subject.. so nice. Maybe a little bit more of the ceiling and it would be perfect in my eyes.
Posted by sigma at January 5, 2005 01:29 AMgorgeous tones and lighting on this shot.
Posted by tanner at January 5, 2005 02:41 AMI'm with Sigma on this one; great depth of field. I'm curious as to what the image would have been like had you shifted the spherical ... tank barrier, I assume (the fact that these are now commonplace says a lot about the modern world), to the right a bit. I imagine it would have made the image slightly less settled.

Posted by Zishaan at January 5, 2005 01:33 PMNo wonder Canadians cannot bowl a strike. You need to remove the cement block from beneath the ball. :^)
Posted by Kevin at January 5, 2005 01:48 PMReally beautiful. Congrats!
Posted by Andreas at January 5, 2005 02:01 PMTank barrier? I don't think we have tank barriers in Toronto, do we? I think it's more on the sculptural side of life, thankfully.
Beauteous shot, Sam! I too love the colour, depth-of-field and lighting.
And YES I want to bowl the sphere down the alley, I do, I do!!!

Posted by Abel Longoria at January 5, 2005 04:48 PMI know that place! I made out with a girl from California there, good times.. too bad we couldn't do anything for a while because the hobos enjoy hanging out at the park at the end of the road there :)

Posted by hustler at January 6, 2005 01:53 AMAbsolutely Astounding. its great.
Beautifully captured. You make it look like its a work of art in a great hall. I almost get a lord of the rings feeling from the look of the background.
Nice!
But where? King St E and ... ?
