Nicely done. May be too much blank space. I use the same idea here http://debin.org/photoaddiction/2004-12-19/ (but with snow instead of ice wrapped around the wire).

can't get photos like that down here in Houston. Back up to 67degrees.. though it did snow down here on Christmas Eve, the first time in some 15 years. Keep it up, I'll br back tomorrow.

I like the look of this picture because it seems so paradoxical--the sharpness of the barbed wire is now smooth and harmless, rendered so by nature!
