Comments: snowy billboard

Would have been great if it had been an advertisement for a dandruff shampoo.

I thought the lights were snow machines. :^)

Posted by Kevin at December 23, 2004 08:20 AM

quite a pretty shot. if the snow were more sparse, it mightve even looked like dandruff.

i hope you're well sam, and happy holidays...

Your photos almost every morning give me a kind of inspiration for the day. And the desire to see the next day photo. Thank you very much.

I'm really not into photography or art, but your blog is the only such site that I visit, and I'm never disappointed!

Keep up the great work, the best of luck to you in 2005, and you deserve all the best!

congrats on being #1, since the top 10 list isn't on the Now website, do you happen to know where I can find the list on the web? I'm not in TO for a few months but would love to see what sites made it to the list.

I've added your rss feed at my Firefox favorites in november. Since that date I am having my daily dose of good photos and inspiration!

Posted by Ivens at December 23, 2004 10:25 PM

Sam, you should quickly go out and capture some macros of the icicles! It rained and flash freezed in many parts of Toronto. It would be wonderful if you could capture them on film before it all melts/gets hidden under more snow.

Check out the metal construction fence outside of Queens Park subway station which I shattered some of the ice on :)
