I think if u had zoomed in a bit to cut the two buildings (on the front row) in the left and the right side, it would have taken from the confusion, and the the effect would have been more powerful.

The contrail adds a nice contrast.

The variation of color in this is wonderful. It makes me feel like the full weight of the Industrial Revolution is being brought to us in one image.

What is happening with the blotchy area in the brick of the closest building. Is this left over artifacts from a retouch or is it a reflection from the another building? How many different images is this one comprised of? Nice work with the telephone poles. Nice skills sam!

i agree with BiBi. A crop of this photo so the left building and the rool of the right in the front row are cut out would greatly increase the effect of this picture. just try covering the sides with your hands and see the difference.

I also agree with bibi and grant(thanks to grants suggestion on using the hands).

It looks REALLY good cropped just a tad.

I really like this image. I like the toning, the life that the steam and plane trails give to it, and the idea behind this shot. I can understand why others suggested a crop, but I don't think that would work. I think that would place the 5th building too close to right edge of the frame. It needs a little space to breathe and be seen. Very well done.

that's beautiful. in a very modern and stark way.

You certainly have the knack for getting the best shots! I can't believe you actually realized you could view 5 of the tallest structures in Toronto behind that building!

A true photographers eye you have!

I can't stop looking at your work, it's 3:37 a.m. and I just can't stop *LOL*

A question for you in regards to the abonded psychiatric hospital in Whitby, how to you get in there and don't you feel spooked by it??
I love those shots!

Going back to looking...
All for now,
