Beautiful. How can you avoid your own reflection on the glass. I assume you took this from the the rear window of the last car of subway while it was leaving the station, right?
Posted by slicesoflife at December 18, 2004 04:05 AMwell, this shot makes me dizzy. nice colors
Posted by magnus at December 18, 2004 07:03 AMLOVE IT. period. can't get enough of it. you rule.
Posted by dominique at December 18, 2004 08:24 AMVery nice result with a very cheap camera. It goes to show, it's not the camera that makes the picture, but the person that's using it.
Posted by Henk Bakker at December 18, 2004 09:12 AMI absolutely love your subway shots. Me and my friends always find them to be the most amazing shots.
Posted by Raffi at December 18, 2004 10:42 AMI am so in awe of your work. Amazing, simply amazing.
Posted by Alissa at December 18, 2004 10:59 AMVery nice photo. The yellow caution line looks super nice!
Posted by Krishna at December 18, 2004 11:06 AMi still love your lomo shots. you've spent enough quality time with your lomo to know its strengths and weaknesses, and you always end up with great images. i'm impressed with the sharpness of the rails and the yellow line in this one.
Posted by diana at December 18, 2004 11:11 AMYour subway pictures are some of your best! You gotta make this one a wallpaper.
Posted by Joey Jo Jo at December 18, 2004 12:02 PMWow, I feel like I'm moving every time I look at it!
Posted by Jerry at December 18, 2004 02:18 PMThe color and lines and blur make for an awesome shot. Wow.
Posted by Josh at December 18, 2004 02:34 PMYes, I forgot to mention, please make this a wallpaper. 1280x960 =)
Posted by Raffi at December 18, 2004 06:19 PMWay to go, vertigo!
Posted by Kevin at December 18, 2004 06:40 PMi've never see the subway from this angle. i love the lines.
Posted by pierre at December 18, 2004 09:07 PMThe motion blur is great - love the smoothness.
Posted by Monika at December 18, 2004 09:12 PMOkay, help a Californian out. Are you in the car, hanging out the back? The only subways I've seen only have windows on the side...
Posted by T. Bradley Dean at December 18, 2004 10:46 PMIn Toronto there are windows at the front and the back. Great for kids and photographers.
Posted by ned at December 19, 2004 09:38 AMBradley, the Toronto subways have windows on the back and front and sides.
Posted by Raffi at December 19, 2004 09:57 AMIncredible. Just absolutely incredible.
Sam you really ought to be doing this full time. You're talented enough. Your high speed movement shots like these are some of my favorites. However you have the ability to capture so many different styles of imagery.
Its been a really good year of imagery again
Posted by scott at December 19, 2004 06:45 PMGreat capture! The lines are great! Movement is superb!
Posted by Rivi at December 19, 2004 11:12 PMreally? an lc-a really could do something as damn good as this? i thought it's a crap camera that never gets the exposure and colors right =)
Posted by ren at December 20, 2004 04:32 PMlove it...though it could even been better without the blurring
Posted by rene at December 21, 2004 06:44 AMwow, what a great pic. one of the best lomo shots i've ever seen. compliments.
Posted by sal at December 21, 2004 08:17 AMFantastic! I can just feel the movement in this shot. I feel like I'm on the train with you. Superb!
Posted by Yvette at December 21, 2004 09:13 PMAmazing shot. Do you clean away your reflection in PS ?
Posted by rei at December 22, 2004 12:08 PMNice pic. Perfect sense of speed and motion. I shot a similar picture here (http://debin.org/photoaddiction/2004-08-20/).
