Absolutely stunning. I can't even describe how much I love this picture.
Posted by rz at December 11, 2004 03:22 AMA nice moody evening shot.
I would have liked to see the reflection in the bottom uncut though.
WoW! Love the colors, brilliant. The building towards the right also adds alot to it.
Incredible picture!
Wow, very nice! (photo bookmarked as favorite)
Posted by dave at December 11, 2004 08:20 AMMy first word on opening this page: Oh!
Now I can't wait to put on my skates.
Nice reflection of lights. Is it fog or tiny raindrops that have caused the blur in some parts of this image?
Posted by Ali at December 11, 2004 09:27 AMthis is so wonderful / seductive / i want to come to Toronto to skate !
Posted by katherine at December 11, 2004 12:10 PMI have to say the reflection is one of the elements that caught my eye first and i throughouly enjoy it. It definately adds to the picture.
Posted by Grant at December 11, 2004 02:40 PMWow, look at those colours. Excellent job Sam.
Posted by miklos at December 11, 2004 04:01 PMThis is gorgeous, but sometimes i wish I could view the photos against a different coloured back drop (say black) or none at all. Might not be realisitc for a site, but just my thoughts.
Posted by Michael at December 11, 2004 04:04 PMThe colors relfected in the wet pavement make this shot.
Posted by matt at December 11, 2004 07:03 PMI like the color in this image...
Posted by buggy at December 11, 2004 09:32 PMI like the colours, and the reflections are bright and vibrant. I like this pic.

Posted by Gilbert l'unique tu captes ombre at December 12, 2004 09:41 AMwonderful night shot... I'm impressed you got such a clear shot without a tripod.
Posted by twb at December 12, 2004 12:44 PMbeautiful. perfection itself.(or at least as close as any of us humans can come to it)
Posted by scott at December 12, 2004 06:43 PMTis awesome how little noise you can get with a 300D at 400 ISO. I couldn't get anything like that unless i had about a 5 second exposure with a tripod. I love this shot.. so colourful!
Posted by camson at December 12, 2004 08:06 PMI've seen alot of shots of Nathan Phillips Square over the years, but I think this might be the best of the lot. What a great mix of colours! What's more impressive is that the shot, despite the low light, is nice and sharp. Excellent!
