What? No pictures of President Bush's visit to Toronto?
Seriously, I have seen and loved many films that were made in Toronto. I hope the film industry there can continue.

A day in the life of a photographer. I like the portrait shots of the photographers by their equipment in the rain.

Hope some action is taken. Love the viewpoints-- if I lived anywhere near there, that would have been a worthwhile cause, shame I live in Texas. thanks for the images.

Canada's film industry is suffering? I thought when Hollywood flooded into Canada for cheaper everything, it would have helped. :)

Great pictures, by the way!

Nice set of photos. Very intersting. Its amazing that they went through the trouble to create the crashed car just for the rally.

For me the sad thing about this photo is it serves to remind me just how easily politicians can ignore the people. I have seen massive protests in the past that have been peaceful or sometimes violent. Often police are used to supress the crowds (violently). Yet dispite these large movements it seems all too easy for politicians to merely continue riding out the wave and carrying on in their own little agendas. Countless times people have gathered together to speak in a strong unified voice and are all too often completely ignored.

I hope this time they will think more deeply and do the right thing and help an industry that very literally is putting toronto on the world map and giving the city and the country an opportunity to be seen. We need to develop these industries that help foster Canadian talent and bring well deserved recognition to the country.

Yes! The Toronto film industry is suffering! We need our politicians to realize this and do something about it before it's too late.
