Buzzzzz. Snooze. Buzzzzz. Snooze. Buzzzz. Snooze. Buzzzzz. Snooze...........
Fun shot of a nasty process!
I like the semicircle of words, which I stood on my head to read, and I am intrigued. What is the alarm sitting on??? Do tell.
Posted by Kathy at December 1, 2004 12:29 AMoh...so, true...great picture of a horrible device
Posted by Dylan at December 1, 2004 01:12 AMvery cool. very stylish.
The colour tones are great.
The words circling around the bottom of the photo are great too.
You bought your clock at good ol' radioshack eh!?
Posted by scott at December 1, 2004 01:23 AMNice perspective and great contrast in color, nicely taken. :)
Posted by Scott at December 1, 2004 01:40 AMThe scale and direction of the numbers make them feel huge. I enjoy this shot. :)
Posted by tanner at December 1, 2004 01:43 AMI hear you man! I know what you mean. but let's all thank the guy who invented the snooze button.
"SNOOZE, NEED MORE SNOOZE"
depends on the figures
before the point.
eleven will be great :)
I totally agree. Leaving the comforting sweetness of your warm, protecting sheets is cruel.
I found your site by accident and now it´s bookmarked - I like your style very much.
I am just a poor hobby-photographer (Canon S40), but eager to learn more about it.
One for the road: I use the free engine from zoomify (www.zoomify.com) to present big pics in a bandwith-protecting manner, you may check it out.
have a nice day
Would that be 7:48? This is really an excellent capture mostly due to the circle of small, blurred text adding a nice contrast to the sharp, big numbers.
And remember the snooze button is your friend.

what were YOU reading before you went to bed? haha, just thought i'd point that out.
Posted by rich at December 1, 2004 04:00 AMcool pic...yeah waking up in the dark is well bad!! Love the site dude secially the last 3-4 photos, good use of color
Posted by az at December 1, 2004 07:02 AMLooks like someone accidentally clicked the shutter when they were putting their camera down. Boring angle, and dull colouring. yawn.
Posted by Sketch at December 1, 2004 07:59 AMI know what you mean!
Posted by designguy at December 1, 2004 09:28 AMagree, I have a similar kinda alarm but am not using that as an alarm anymore. it's killing!
Posted by Ali at December 1, 2004 09:41 AM"Buzzzzz. Snooze. Buzzzzz. Snooze. Buzzzz. Snooze. Buzzzzz. Snooze..........."
"Fun shot of a nasty process!"
I couldn't agree more. :)
Posted by Scott Johnson at December 1, 2004 10:35 AMnothing but the truth...i´ve to stand up at 5:15 ;-(
Posted by theo at December 1, 2004 10:48 AMgreat shot. i love the contrast of the LED. so you have your cam at your bedside too? btw, 7:48am in Toronto is not dark any longer. either its 1:48 am, or you better open your blinds man!
Posted by Junnie at December 1, 2004 12:19 PMFile under "Horror".
Interesting angle, not my cup-o-tea though.
I'll be watching.

Posted by re-Pete at December 1, 2004 12:34 PMMaybe 4:48? Ouch... that's early!

Posted by mahdi at December 1, 2004 02:47 PMis it 4:48? we want to know the time. if it is..i know your pain. i wake up at that time as well.
Posted by brenda at December 1, 2004 03:08 PMlol... "tripod"
i would never take the time tat early in the morning. let someone else do it.
Heh. Lightweight. ;)
My gym opens at 6 and I'm well used to seeing 4:48, and waiting for the evil medley to announce the start of Radio 4 and the horrors of Farming Today.
Posted by Aegir at December 1, 2004 05:07 PMReminding us that such a thing as 4:48 in the morning does exist is pure cruelty.
Posted by Andréas at December 1, 2004 06:20 PMouch!!! 3 and 1/2 hours sleep!!! I feel your pain.
Posted by scott at December 1, 2004 06:32 PM
I can only presume that 4:48 is a reference to the universal time people choose to kill themsleves, just before the darkness is over and day breaks. A nod to the play 4:48 Psychosis, perhaps.
This is great!
Posted by Green at December 1, 2004 10:26 PMYeah... this photo just reminds me the worst moment of my day. My alarm sounds like the trucks' alarm on reverse gear. So my mom was complaining the other day of the early-morning-truck-traffic... well, I never told her that it was me snoozing my alarm every 7 minutes for an hour (and she never wondered why would all the trucks go backward in the morning).
Posted by Ninjaess at December 1, 2004 10:41 PMcool! Ive started doing the same kind of thing as you have here with seattle music photography :)
