Posted by Aaron at November 29, 2004 04:08 AMWow Sam, you continue to blow my mind and with the kit lens. If you start doing shots like this with a pinhole camera...
Fab, thanks.
Posted by Richard at November 29, 2004 06:49 AMI think this would look pretty good on my desktop... wallpaper versions?

Posted by Enda O'Keeffe at November 29, 2004 07:20 AMI love the little blurb of purple on the top right, that seems unexpected. Nice texture

Posted by katherine at November 29, 2004 08:33 AMSam, i'd like to use some of your photos for an article i'm working on. I emailed you this weekend, but not sure if you got it. This pic is the reason why...right o' chap
Posted by pierre at November 29, 2004 11:13 AMwow, i m just amazed by the clarity in this image. the sharp edges of the water on the window and the effects of the lights just completes this image very beautifully. great work!
Posted by Hemal Trivedi at November 29, 2004 12:07 PMSO PRETTYFULL
Posted by incole at November 29, 2004 01:04 PMThe reds "blur" makes this look like an airbrush painting, you should try expanding on that sort of thing. Very Cool and interesting visuals.
Posted by Lorin Halpert at November 29, 2004 01:21 PMBeautiful texture and balance of shapes... I am not sure about the colours.... they kinda break the picture
Posted by Reza at November 29, 2004 01:35 PMGotta love the rain droplet shots. A personal fave of mine. NICE site, keep up the good work.

*Meh*....Its alright I guess...
just kidding this is just brilliantly great and beautiful. This is what keeps bringing us back to this site to look everyday is the amazing beauty of the images that we see and the fantastic variety of imagery that is presented. I never expected something like this one.
P.S. Very Christmasy... Way to capture such great holiday colours it really chears me up to look at it. wish there was a little tad of green in there though.
Posted by scott at November 29, 2004 07:02 PMhmm, i don't know sam, i really want to like this one, but it just doesn't do anything for me. i look it over again and again, but still it doesn't move me as a lot of your other shots do. but i'm sure i won't have to wait too long to post more positive comments.
Posted by rich at November 29, 2004 07:02 PMcould be a canvas unto itself.
Posted by Martin Kimeldorf at November 29, 2004 11:10 PMBeautiful, Sam. But for all its detail, I'm precoccupied and curious to know what a photo from that exact spot with the same tri-pod would look like on a dry, sunny, non-dropletted-window day. What are/is the source of the 3 bright lights/colors?
It is really pretty though.
Posted by BrotherAli at November 30, 2004 12:41 AMI have seen something like this b4 here. The drops grew bigger over time I guess.
