FIRST! (for once)

Well done. :)

Similar in atmosphere to some of the latest band shots I took. http://www.fabricated.ca/images/Photo_Gallery/20041107_dwilshow3.jpg

Oh, plaase. Rather not. Don't like them a bit even. I know it's hard to shot night life scenes but if you don't have a proper equipment it's not worth it.

Ah ha! so that's who was taking photographs @ the Cameron House last night! I happened upon your photoblog by sheer accident. I scrolled through every photo posted, right back to the beginning. They are incredibly beautiful; a few even triggering a 'personal response'. Especially ones around Ashbridges Bay, the very spot we sprinkled the ashes of our late friend, Nina.

I have bookmarked your photoblog. I have enjoyed it immensely.

Your Cameron House waiter, Ray.

Ace shots there. I've been to a few gigs and this is definetly a style I want to try. Did you use a tripod or not? Its one of the things I've been wondering if I would need. I've done plenty of long exposures, but I wasn't sure if you could achieve this results without lugging a trpiod around.

coolness.

Love the ghost image of their actions. I can nearly hear them playing just by watching the photos.

Glad to see some happy moments captured in these shots and know your doing alright.

Wow! So cool! I really like the first one. It's kind of predictable, but still really cool. The second one is also really neat, but it kinda freaks me out because it's like his spirit is standing next to him...or something. It's just kinda eerie.

I've been visiting your site for quite a while now, and I LOVE your work. It's always nice to come here after a long day. Thank you!!

hey there, really nice live shots,
slow sync flash is very hard to do well but you pulled it off nicely, were u using a tripod?

don't like the shots. i suppose you were experimenting with some new technique? the first shot however, did spark some delight-- the guitar engulfed in a flame-like exposure- nice. can't say much about attempt2. maybe tomorrow.

Great shots, pretty much perfect. I can't believe some people don't like them! They're full energy and movement, which is a key element of a live rock performance. Nicely done.

I think they're great! Movement, light, intensity, fun. I've been trying to learn to take some band shots and mine are no comparison...yours are really cool.

If you need any inspiration of help, there's a guy who's been shooting Toronto bands for a few years and posting really good photos.

His site is www.kidwithcamera.com. I just saw him at a show two nights ago at the opera house.
