Nice and strong.

That's rather nice. So what time did you take that then? Can't have been too late with 1/200s...

Posted by Aegir at November 9, 2004 06:58 AM

Cool!! Looks like a Seahorse!

Posted by Otavio at November 9, 2004 07:12 AM

Otavio: I was going to say that too but I didn't want to be called crazy!

Posted by miklos at November 9, 2004 08:47 AM

nice use of.....pigeon poo.

beautiful photo. it looks great.

seahorse ... i agree it looks like one.

very nice eye once again to spot this and the way the buildings line the sides on the photo its great.

im happy i stopped to check this site before going to sleep tonight.

P.S. it also looks like an angel doing some fancy flying if you stare at it long enough....

seahorse doing the can can (if a seahorse can pretend to have legs!)

love your work

Posted by mik at November 9, 2004 10:37 AM

Pigeon poo? please people...

...it's obviously from a seagull.

Haha... Great eye as always, Sam.

Posted by Re-Pete at November 9, 2004 10:37 AM

this reminds me of a frog looking up at the sky from inside a well ^^

Posted by teepoo at November 9, 2004 10:54 AM

It looks like a hummingbird to me. I love how black the buildings are. And how there is a fade in the sky from light to dark.
Great work man!

Posted by Abby at November 9, 2004 11:40 AM

I like how there's a cloud in the sky.

Posted by Andrew at November 9, 2004 01:40 PM

i kinda like how the cloud is white and all. nice effect...

Bird crap? Toads? Dancin' friggen Seahorse's with legs?
Are you all mad? It is obviously the entity that trapped
James Kirk and his crew on the Enterprise with a butt load of angry Klingons and turned all the phasers into swords.
Get with the program people.

on a side note: I, for one, welcome our new
ethereal, weapons changing overlords.

2, 2, two for the price of one.

Posted by qoJ at November 9, 2004 03:15 PM

its simple- and i like that. less is more.

Posted by kandi champagne cook at November 9, 2004 06:44 PM

Nice contrast between the hard line graphic elements and the swirly cloud.

Posted by Nancy at November 9, 2004 06:47 PM

Reminds me of a conversation with a dane called Sol. She'd never heard of sea horses, but given her english is really quite good (and our danish was non-existant) I think she'd see the likeness.

Posted by Kim Rickwood at November 9, 2004 07:55 PM

it is obviously a white ghost ninja jumping from roof to roof.
fools.

Posted by Emily at November 9, 2004 10:59 PM

No one sees what looks like a hangman's noose hanging from the peak of the building? Morning's on its way up (use your imagination) and you know what that means... come sunup...

That was the juxtaposition I saw first thing. Look how high up it looks... almost in the sky along with that sad little puff of cloud barely hanging on to its shape... soon to be... nothing.

i am sorry, but, this sucks.

What a stellar, ultra-sensitive composition. So beautiful!
