Beautiful colors and shot. And I don't think it has been photoshopped. It is an L Class Lens.

It's a sunset and a big black spot. That's all, nothing more.

Posted by Quitou at November 8, 2004 01:11 PM

did you really took it at 1/500s or is it a photoshop job?

Posted by rohit at November 8, 2004 01:49 PM

NICE ! Although Toronto doesn't have the most beautiful nature in Canada, I figured that the sky's colors are usually amazing here. I guess you can always find something beautiful out there.

Fantastic! I love this site. You've done great work and I admire it very much. (Jealous actually)!

I used to work close to this place.. actually the R&D dept on the first floor puts ads on my site now :) .. http://www.contractbrains.com . Check them out when you get the chance.
The clouds in toronto get so depressing except when the sunlight comes through it.

Bright skies, beautiful reflections. But, I can't rest my eyes anywhere in this photo... and the movement makes my head spin.

Posted by bornorf at November 8, 2004 05:06 PM

Beautiful photo of a sunset. Whatever type of lens you used to capture those colours it worked well. The warm tones of the red sky and darkened buildings help to make the coldness of approaching winter seem a little more bearable.

... hold on wait isnt the sky catching fire one of the seven signs of the Apocalypse. If anyone is living by the ocean let us know if its a bit bubbley...

P.S. Sam please take note of the spam. ive noticed it on more than one occasion.

Posted by scott at November 8, 2004 06:12 PM

beautiful sky!

Posted by riff at November 8, 2004 07:12 PM

wow, great colours.

Posted by miles at November 8, 2004 07:28 PM

Wow, great job capturing both the sky and the buildings, the pattern of the glass on the far left building is pretty interesting.
well done

Posted by Tom at November 9, 2004 11:42 PM

Phew, you can do better. Right building is definetely overexposed. Also, cliche, isn't it?

Posted by Lukasz at November 10, 2004 02:22 AM

oh my...

Posted by stijn at November 10, 2004 09:47 AM

An impactful shot well seen! I think you've perhaps overcooked it a little for my taste, but each to his own.

Posted by Simon C at November 10, 2004 10:51 AM
