Hey just wanted to say i really like your pictures and what in the world is that?!

Now that's a kind of furry you don't get to see everyday.

Hey Sam,
Quite the coincidence, the headline on the drudgereport right now with hurricane jeanne reads "fury". BTW I love your macro shots of insects, the depth of field on this one is really cool.

I don’t visit this site for ages and ages and what do I find on my return? A moth with a mullet! Could he be more white trash, I ask you.
I must admit this picture did scare me a little. Like many people of my generation growing up in Iran, I was subjected to the unbearable torture that was weekend children’s programmes. Where over and over, we were made to watch that frightening cartoon of that poor boy who collected butterflies but ended up being collected by a gigantic butterfly (who had somehow managed to get hold of an enormous jam jar) himself.

Good photo....

This is somewhat like my Photo Friday entry that deals with "furry":

I think you've found the next Disney hero:
"Furry the Moth"! She may be *cute*, but you
still couldn't pay me enough to hold her!
FANTASTIC SHOT......................................

Beautiful. Look at the finger prints and the lines. Moths are not blood suckers. It seems this one is studying the finger prints. It could be a detective moth.

that damned thing and it's relatives ruined my favourite shirt!!!! they're the real closet monsters.

'Tis not furry!
It's scaley!

(nerd alert!)

What a capture; thanks to it now I know that even insects can be furry. The colors are natural and the fact that this little bug feels confortable in one hand give even more liking for the whole thing.

I never realised how cute moths really are!

What an awesome and powerful macro shot!
