Comments: beatles at bce

I absolutely love BCE Place. What an incredible place to take photos. I am surprised that I don't see more photos featuring BCE Place. I like that you can see a hint of the fabulous architecture in the background.

I saw this a little while ago, there are some fantastic photos in the exhibition. I remember seeing a sign that said strictly NO photography though ;)

I myself prefer the narrow depth of field. It brings out the subject of the picture--namely, the Beatles photo.

Do you crop your lomographs, Sam? Or do you tweak in Photoshop somehow? There's no light falloff at the edges here. Just curious.

Great shot. I agree with Diana that the shallow depth of field and selective focus on Paul makes for a very compelling composition.

About the light falloff (or vignetting): that's indeed a side-effect of lomo, but occurs mostly when shooting in bright sunlight, or with very bright backgrounds. In 'normal' lighting conditions, and with correct aperture and film speed chosen, vignetting isn't that strong...
