Love the colours of the flowers contrasting with the old wall. Autumn is in the air!
Posted by PhilB at September 20, 2004 02:55 AMthe composition sets this apart, and the colours and textures make it even lovelier. yes: a crisp autumn kind of image!
Posted by lynn at September 20, 2004 05:35 AMAstonishing colors and beautiful dof!
Posted by stef & rollo at September 20, 2004 06:51 AMvery nice colors and perspective. sharpeness can be better
Posted by Michal at September 20, 2004 07:27 AMLovely, but you know how I feel about your work anyway. Everything is simply smashing.
Posted by Houser at September 20, 2004 08:03 AMvery very nice!! great colors combo as well!
Posted by Liisa at September 20, 2004 08:20 AMSomeone mentioned the sharpness. Yes, the bricks aren't sharp. But to me, that almost makes the picture. If they were, there would be confusion between the flowers and bricks. As it stands now, I like the way the flowers stand out both in terms of color and sharpness.
Posted by Howard at September 20, 2004 08:48 AMlater on that day I trampled all of those.
Posted by chemical imbalance at September 20, 2004 10:29 AMIt could be beatiful behind the walls, and flowers are beautiful everywhere.Nice.
Posted by effat at September 20, 2004 12:37 PMnice contrast between industry and nature. the colors blend nicely. good idea with the blur too.
Posted by steven at September 20, 2004 01:01 PMI love the depth of the image with the background blurred. Good job.
Posted by miklos at September 20, 2004 01:27 PMYou did made a great DOF, really love it.
Posted by Amirali . Sَ at September 20, 2004 01:47 PMHandheld? Surely you're lying... at 1/25th of a second, that's an awfully sharp photo!
Good depth-of-field separation between the flower and hte bricks, but I feel the DOF ought to be tighter, to make hte bricks more blurry. They're awfully close to being sharp, and that's got my brain confused.
Nice shot. I like pics of certain flowers if they are done right.
I just posted one that I did recently that I thought turned out not bad. I like to isolate them with black backgrounds to make them stand out.
