Comments: lamp, crane, clouds

So grey, so black and white so gloomy, so 30s. Well done! Those street lamps standing there quite dark. How ironic is that?

Really good! Got to agree with comment writer #1, so 30s. Have you edited it in some ways? Can you tell your secret?

And it is perfect that we don't see the whole picture when entering the site, makes you more excited to scroll down.

very nice composition, but photo is little oversharpened. I thing that color version can be better than black&white.

No commentary about the picture, but, about all your work. I discover it in the morning of french city, faraway and so close to you, to me. Very nice concept, piece of Eiffel Tower, pieces of flowers, pieces of puzzle. Brilliant, really ! I love the proximity of your work, Thanks.

Such dark ominous clouds. Kinda reminds me of what we are going through right now here in Florida. However, as long as I have power, I can still view my absolute favorite photographer's work. Keep it up brother!

interesting backlight shot!. I like the cloudy sky

I think you've got a great sense of "thirds" going on in the pic. In silhouetting the shot, you've made it almost abstract, as the focus is on the triangles within the crane and the translucent texture of the lights. I like that. Definitely cool.

Did the original blue of the sky have that nasty texture that comes from enlarging digital pictures? i think i see that noise.

Love the photo - B&W is sooo dramatic and makes for such a powerful pic. I work downtown, and seeing your site and pics has inspired me to take my camera (G1) to work daily. Right now I use my Motorola phone to take pics, but as you can imagine it has limitations.

Wonderful picture. Black & White added texture and framed details that can not be seen with the naked eye.
