Comments: canadian reflection

Wow thats a great shot. Its hard to distinuish which company is actually a reflection and which isnt. And the flags just complete it. Very nice.

Excellent reflecting work. I love the piling of company logos. Just beautiful.

nice reflections and yellow colors, but red and green break it.

the american multinational is a nice touch... really!

Scotiabank would have been nice. No green at least.

I'd like a skinny grande latte and $100 from my chequing account, I even see a reflection of the competition Timothy's in the doorway. Good composite of images. BTW did you take a picture of the reflection and flip it, or is this the origial view?

Very nice juxtaposition on both levels: visual (photographic) and political. Could I have a latte to go with that 5-yr CD?

I think this is one of my recent favourites of your photos. As a resident of Toronto, I'm always impressed by the photos that make Toronto look new to me. Great work.

great shot. Nice weblog. :)

I don't usually like shots like this, but the complexity of this one is what makes it cool. Anyway, a nice shot in a rather failed category, imho ;-)

The red and the green are what make this picture pop! Without them you've just got a lot of relatively neutral colors.

Nice shot, nice site!

Great complexity and well handled ......... too many folk would have cropped this down, but it works directly as a result of that, and the warm lighting .... imho

I was at this very location earlier this week with my camera looking for all the beautiful things captured on this website. I must admit, I lack the eye for composition apparent here or I would have come home with the same shot. :-)

Canada should not trust starbucks coffee.

Aside from the whole cool reflectiveness of the photo, I like the political message imbedded within: no matter how Canadian we try to be and maintain out identity, there is an American company attempting to infiltrate it and break it apart from the inside, soon to dominate it.

Returning from my holiday I take a moment to catch up with the DDoIs I've been missing out on. Everything that needs to has been previously commented on. It really is an excellent photograph.
