Comments: sunflower

Wow, this one quite literally felt like it leapt off the screen at me -- it's beautiful. I particularly like the sort of venus flytrap-looking effect of the underside. . .

Again, glorious design work......first by God, then by you. Who else would ever think to focus on the underside of a sunflower? Thanks for sharing!

that rocks!

and again, a fine example called "how-comes-I-haven't-seen-it-myself" :)

wow.. how close does the kit lens help you get for macro-ish shots like this?

Posted by riff at September 2, 2004 10:56 AM

funny sam...look what i put up on my blog last night. i was going to do a front shot of a sunflower that almost looks painted but chose this more amusing one instead.

Posted by brenda at September 2, 2004 11:24 AM

glorious!

I have the kit lens with this camera.. did you do a major crop, or what? This seems ultra close.

Wow... this is very delicate :0

Very sharp macro! I like the contrast and the angle.

Posted by Digital Dee at September 2, 2004 02:44 PM

Wonderful angle. It's amazing but, without even seeing the front, it still looks like a sunflower. Who knew? ;)
