Comments: cn tower shadow

I love shots from tall building! It gives you so much detail and info about the area!

The shadow is well spotted!

THIS is an amazing capture; I work in the tallest building W of the Mississippi and have yet to come even remotely close to capturing a shot like this -- truly inspiring. In fact, you're the reason I'm going with a Canon when I upgrade =)

It's almost scary. Feels like I'm falling..

Nice capture of the shadow! I don't think I've seen one like this before (without the shadow I wouldn't be interested) - that you managed to capture all the way out to the water is great!

the concrete jungle

Neat. It is an urban jungle, but what is even more disturbing is when you look at the incredible amount of space dedicated to cars. I mean look at the amount of parking space alone...

I am also amazed at the amount of parking space -- but Toronto is "still in the development stage".
What amazes me is that the little rectangular building with the pale blue roof, that sits between the Air Canada Centre (red maple leafs on roof) and the Waterplace buildings is the original Toronto Harbour Commission that sat right at the edge of the lake in the early 1900s

I still can't believe how much you can capture in your shot.

great view and fantastic shot and I also like the shadow of the tower from you have taking this.

IT only looks like os much land is dedicated to cars because it's the touristy area of toronto in the shot. If sam panned 10 degrees to his left you wouldnt see nearly as much land dedicated to parking. Thankfully. What amazes me is the ammount of land dedicated for the CN rail yard for union station (also featured in other shots here). also, yah, it's interesting how far a city can extend beyond the natural water's edge these days. buying actual land is for suckers.
