Posted by 6OH at July 29, 2004 03:28 PM

there's no way that's real water. it's some kind of gel or it has been photoshopped in the picture.

Posted by someone at July 29, 2004 03:58 PM

Hi sam, this photo is amazing. Can you please send me the big version? Thanks a lot

Posted by Mehdi at July 29, 2004 04:57 PM

Really SAM - you are just amazing.

Noticing how much everyone would like to have the daily dose of imagery on their desktop - is it possible to put up the desktop-sized image of the photo. Actually, considering how each of your images are classics, I would imagine that the daily dose of desktop imagery from your site would not be a bad idea!!

Posted by Ricky at July 29, 2004 05:07 PM

This plant, for those interested, appears to be Sedum 'Autumn Joy', commonly known as Autumn Joy Stonecrop. Thank you Sam for all of your wonderful photographs, especially those with botanical content.

Posted by Brenn at August 2, 2004 10:49 AM

Since I have kids, my first thought was from the "Bug's Life" movie. One of the ants makes a telescope with a rolled up leaf and a water drop.

Posted by Amy Riedel at August 2, 2004 06:22 PM

Punch me in the balls and call me a girl! What a great photo!

Ok, now I am totally confused. My 2 PCs and 2 laptops all have this picture as a wallpaper. I am an addict now. Can I drink that drop?

Posted by Riri at August 11, 2004 09:20 PM

incredible.

Posted by Elias at August 15, 2004 08:41 AM

Definitely one of my favorite here on topleftpixel.com! Beautiful shades of green... and of course the amazing raindrop reflection.

I always was a fan of macros, now I know why ;)

Posted by MicYaro at August 23, 2004 09:59 AM

Wow, that's great!

Posted by joerg at September 1, 2004 06:30 PM

am i crying? because i wouldn't be surprised if i was. this is the BEST photo. i said you were an elemental of snow and sky before, but let's face it-- architecture, botany, subways, city streets, composition, craft, inspiration, execution-- you're a world class photographer. do you do shows? do you have a book? honestly now. are you a demigod?

Posted by Claude Garmon at September 2, 2004 08:02 PM
