Posted by Roozbeh at July 25, 2004 07:19 AMNow this would make a killer print!! Awesome!
Posted by Houser at July 25, 2004 08:15 AMBeautiful work!
Just a sugestion, I think there is a chance to improve this shot by a slight modification with Photoshop clonning tool to avoid the somewhatt disturbing black horizontal line.

Posted by Cliffique at July 25, 2004 12:18 PMI love this shot. It's really beautiful. Just wanted to say that I do not agree with Ricardo at all. Cause the horizon line helps the composition and adds to the beauty of this shot.
Really wonderful shot. Well done.
The hot spot makes the glass look like it's not flat. That hot spot/vertical stripe is bit disturbing, I think. But I like the idea.
Posted by Boreo at July 25, 2004 05:57 PMone of the best photographs ive seen done by you.
Posted by ( kandi champagne cook ) at July 25, 2004 07:18 PMNice shadows and the line and the tone give it an aged look that's very cool. Great find!
Posted by Charlie at July 25, 2004 09:09 PMWith respect to Tell's opinion I would say that he might be right but only if the line should be defocused in the same fashion as the leaves.I saw this line so sharp that I firts sight I thought it was a problem of transmision by internet.
Best

Posted by Ricardo at July 25, 2004 09:57 PMA brilliant shot. If you hadn't explained it I'd have sat and pondered the depth of field and sharp/soft focus. Well done.
Posted by kvh at July 26, 2004 12:11 AMHaven't visited in awhile, but this is just fantastic! Beautiful shot.
Posted by Emma at July 26, 2004 03:00 AMat your workplace, huh? damn the man, sam!
Posted by chemical imbalance at July 26, 2004 01:07 PMbeautifully done and perfect for black and white. ;-)
Posted by your_waitress at July 27, 2004 02:34 PMI'll go ahead and disagree with Ricardo as well. That horizontal line really makes this image as far as I'm concerned, it gives it a certain graphic feel to it that is pretty unique, at first I thought you put it in manually in photoshop or something.
Nice!
Posted by lumen at July 27, 2004 04:09 PMyour creative vision when it comes to photography never ceases to intrigue me. i am fascinated with your ability to capture things so eloquently through photos, things that would otherwise go unnoticed. this one is particularly stunning because it looks like graphic art.
