Nice action shot!

Maybe the lomo catches the movement of time, where the precise camera freezes the moment, like a piece of the river held somehow, the lomo catches the shift-through-time of the light.

"watch the cyclist, richard!" very nice shot. you have much talent... could you spare some?

Lovely shot Sam... why don't you get the lab to scan your film to cd for you? I find they do a decent job and is worth the extra money.

When i scan things at home, there invariably tend to be a lot of dust even after I wipe the glass a dozen time.

COOLLLLL shot....... love all the colors in there....

What exactly is a LOMO camera?

She has a fascinating expression on her face. The photo says a lot more than I can adequetely describe. How deliciously frustrating...

In my experience... the lab rarely does a good job scanning my film, and it usually isn't at a high enough quality. Mabe your lab is better than mine though...

why didn't you jam something in her spokes?

Try guessing the make of the car parked cross the street!

i just wish you'd shot the biker in blue VELVET.

Wonderful movement, nice one. Do you use the Lomo much compared to your 300D?

Posted by James at July 21, 2004 07:39 PM

Yes, lomo lc-a is much better.

I'd say get rid of your rebel. I'd be more than happy to take it off your hand.

Posted by legofish at July 21, 2004 07:43 PM

this is a great lomo shot! Makes me want to give my lc-a another shot since I've not been happy with the couple of rolls I've shot on it!

LOMO's are cool. I knew a guy who walked around campus back in college wearing his like a piece of jewelry around his neck. He kept it loaded with slide film. Pretty cool...just dorky looking.

It looks more like King street around Sherbourne. The yellow sign there is Subway and the orange sign there is DVD Dinner. Am I right, Sam?

another fantastic panning/motion from shot from your LC-A

Amazing colors and movement effect; seems like a trek with a time machine. great.
