Comments: door to nowhere

That's a good angle. It seems far away yet close. It kind of takes a second to really look at, good shot.

Very interesting backdrop for an excellent shot.

The drop down from the door reminds me of that scene in The Matrix. Or was it The Matrix Reloaded ?

That's just bizarre. Are they demolishing that, or building something on it?

I love it!

that's awesome. most times "doors to nowhere" lead to a brick wall or something... i wouldn't want to be the person who opens that door by mistake!

Remynds me of that part in the Michael Douglas movie "Falling Down" where he gets the bazooka and terrorizes the construction site.

Interesting picture there. Very weird architecture though. Presence of dead end doors, opening which one can only hope to go south. Haha. Loved the angle and the whole aburdity in the picture.

I've been wanting to say hello for a month or so now since I found this page. Your photos are always so wonderful. Makes me wish I got a 300D. I had to sell my 10D in February, and ended up going with the new Nikon D70 last month, but I really regret leaving Canon.

I was just in Toronto yesterday actually. Took the train up from Windsor, just to take photos for the day. I wish I had more time though, and a place to store my things. Carrying around my camera bag with my laptop and things was just so tiring. Next time I will stay over night and leave most of my things in the hotel so I can just go out with my camera, and not feel so weighed down.

Your Photos are very inspiring

I have gone to many of the locations in downtown where you tqake photos and found some of the interesting locations you show in your photographs.

If you need more locations I have found some interesting places in downtown myself.

Continue the great work that you do

:)

the flash-magnifier thing inspired me and I came up with an idea. i.e. the magnifier could be an a bit different shot so that as you arrive on what you saw small before, its not there any more, or its different. 'd be cool, huh? especially with this door-to-nowhere door, you drive onto it and bang!!! it opens and there is a nude woman standing inside! :)
