Quite the shot. I felt a little dizzy when the shot loaded, its one crazy angle. What were you standing on?

WOW, I heard Tehran polution's got worse during last 4 years. But this shows something different.

Wonderful colors, BTW

Great pic....
If possible I'd like to know about the set up and and post production such as cropping and minor photoshop adjustments. I fell out of my chair after looking at it...!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers.

The starburst reflection off a car's side mirror is fantastic -was that pure serendipity?

6 CARS IN 4 LANE STREET!!!!!!!!!!!

After getting back in my chair I thought the image was a stitched panorama. Then I realized the cars are moving which would not make that practical. It must be a high resolution image with narrow cropping. I wonder what filter was used.

Interesting contrasts -- congestion vs light traffic, green vegetation vs paved roads, hills on the horizon vs big city, emerging sunshine vs dampness on the road.

Is that a twister in the upper right corner? Apparently not but in this corner, the image falls out of focus and gets darker. Perhaps this is caused by the process used to produce the image.

hardcore. this is the first picture i've seen up here that doesn't trigger any negative comments. no daily dose of pessimism for you, Sam.

First time I looked at it, I tried to figure out what kind of circumstance would conspire you to shoot through a window with a crack in it. :) Then I realized that starburst in the middle was a sculpture.

a little patch of green in an otherwise monotone landscape.

Cool photo I like the angle.

Very nice photo, reminds me how different Mirdamad Looks towards the east. By the way, it is called "Mirdamad Blvd" not Avenue :)

Posted by Ostad at June 23, 2004 07:51 PM

on the left side there's a white car with an orange stripe... if you look carfully way behind there's another car with the same paint work.

Dark sky & unbalanced world...green grass is the only crack in it. I do like this photo.
