Comments: [f] darband tea shop

Now THIS is a photograph that is well served by the flash magnifier. I can probably spend at least an hour discovering the fine detail in this photograph.

This is superb! I liked the other 2 flash magnifications, but this one is definitely the best! What a beautiful (colourful) shop!

Yes! This is awesome. It's the best use of the magnifier to date. The viewer gets to appreciate the many fine textures of the brick, ceramic cups/pots, floor tiles, carpets, cushions, wood beams, etc. Wow. Very nice, Sam.

sweeeeeeet ... love the colors.

But I guess they have to take away all their "Ghalyoons" now that they are banned.

Why not providing a jpg version ? I can't have Flash on my platform (Linux/PPC) and can't enjoy your photo...

Perfect detail photo (and vibrant colours) to exploit this magnifier so well.

And thank you for sharing the technology behind it!

Great posting !

nice job man .... perfect!

Posted by saleh at June 22, 2004 06:02 PM

i'd prefered if the pic was larger instead of using the magnifying, cuz u can see everything, not just one piece.

Posted by mariel at June 22, 2004 08:08 PM

Very cool.

***PERFECT PERSIAN TEA SHOP***
One of my FAVORITE pictures for this month!

Posted by p23e at June 22, 2004 11:03 PM

Linux flash player blows. I m too lazy to drag, can we have a mode that lets the magnifier just follows the mouse pointer when it's on the photo. So u can weigh how heavier u can get after a few cups of tea?

Posted by Boreo at June 22, 2004 11:48 PM

What a spectacular shot. I feel like I'm there, in fact, it gives me a desire to open my own tea shop.
I love your work.

i like the exoticness of the shot. and the magnifier works very well.

Too beautiful for words....

incredible...simply incredible...

Posted by Amy at June 28, 2004 02:56 AM

lush magnified. this is the best of the three flash posts so far. The bricks one suggested flash was a great idea although the city shot was better overall. Here, the choice was even more fun for detail than the brick and the actual photo better than the city. TRUMP
