Comments: spider on leaf

Nice shot. Thanks for mentioning the reverse lens technique, so I could do some research about it. Nice trick :) . (http://www.mplonsky.com/photo/article.htm#rev)

That is probably one of the coolest spider shots I've ever seen.

Wow, I feel like it is going to climb off my computer screen and attack me!

Considering the narrow DoF shooting like this ... you have managed to bring out the most critical bits and captured a great photo

I gotta tell you that it looks surprisingly good as a wallpaper(centered). the green color is very easy on eyes. the spider is cool!

I really love the texture on this one!

I have never seen spider's eyes that clearly until today.

I thought it's some gigantic African bug. Good job!

well done perfect shot

Love the shot! Jumping spiders are the best ones to photograph. I love getting them to leap from one hand to another. Fantastic athleticism!

I hope to try and get a few shots of one for my site this summer.

Nice macro work! I love photographing insects and spiders, but I can rarely capture spiders as nice as you have here.

Posted by Andrea at June 21, 2004 09:20 AM

Gah! My camera's macro ability is woefully insufficient.
