Comments: yellow phone

Effective color. Not an ordinary view over city photo. Nice with a variation. Good work!

It is always difficult to judge, if not impossible. Not too many Candids? Rigid Geometry? Tripod?! “Mediocre”? TO? Tehran? “Top Left”? You’ve got quite a life @) (I can see that all happens “Before The Lens”). And I would like to thank you again for all these and wish you the best.

WOW another spectacular image. So many elements…the rich burst of yellow, the depth of field, the figures, the feeling of man's juxtaposition in nature, the subtle chromatic prism from sky to telephone… fantastic Sam. And I'm not being sarcastic, like Scott, so as to avoid controversy, and to avoid hurting Sam's feelings.

I like this image, but i can't figure out which subject it was you were trying to capture. the phone or the couple? i can't seem to keep my eye fixed on the couple, cause the instant i look at them, my eye is drawn right back to the phone. the title of it suggests that you wanted to capture the phone, but the description makes it seem like you wanted the focus to be on the two people.

You got a good photo here, taken in an exceptionally clean day (in terms of air pollution).

I think composition took me first to the couple and then back and forth between the couple and phone box. Then I consciously thought what’s the city like. So found my eye zooming away to the distant hills and I did this eye dance between the hills, city and foreground. Congrats, you’ve got a remarkable eye for composition. I think there’s a really good sense of place in this shot, it’s not a stretch to feel I am there.
