OH. MY. GOD. Cab drivers have been telling me about the mess on College. Never would have imagined it as you imaged it. Thanks for preparing me for what is to happen to St Clair next year. No wonder the merchants are complaining of loss of business.
Posted by linda at May 3, 2004 08:45 AMBut Linda........what did you think of the photo!!???
I think the angle, and depth make the crushed rock an art form in itself!
Good one Sam.
Posted by Henry at May 3, 2004 09:41 AMthey're more complaining about a loss of business because they don't want the dedicated street car lanes.
unfortunately, their views are short-sighted as the spadina line has shown, dedicated street car lanes have actually increased foot traffic becuase it is now more easier for a wider group of people to visit Chinatown without worrying about the parking/driving hassles.
Posted by justin at May 3, 2004 10:18 AMnever mind the traffic problems! this pic is one of the best yet
Posted by Larisa at May 3, 2004 11:52 AMBelieve it or not LPS (Low Pressure Sodium) street light (amber) has always been a challenging condition for me to shoot and I have never been quite happy with the outcome. This is by far the greatest and most educational sample I have seen. (WVS: Cheers to the Tripod… >-)

Posted by christopher at May 3, 2004 02:03 PMMan, I know Toronto roads are bumpy and full of potholes, but this takes the cake [grin].
Still, it is still much smoother than the 401! Hahaha...
