Very good shot Sam. Very good framing. Immediately, this sitting woman attract our look and we can imagine a story with her.
I'm living in France and i have not yet visited this castle.

I like the image, very cool. However, i never imagine 'stories' or put myself into the picture like other viewers. Am I strange, or normal. I simply like to bask in the visual pleasure it gives me.

excellent composition... there is a story in this photo!

switched, nah you're not weird. I do the same thing... it's usually only when I'm bored with the visual aspect of a picture that I allow myself to open up the story aspect of it to get more out of the picture. Though some pictures are just so profound that it goes straight to story. Some people capture the moments of life so well that you can feel hours of life in just one picture.

Well anyway, didn't mean to get all dreamy on ya. :P

Great shot.. I love how my eyes go directly to the woman sitting before I even notice the bars. Perfect.

I sort of have a system for viewing a shot. Colour is first, then lines, next i 'check out' the focal point, then mull over detail stuff. It works for me...
