Posted by Roozbeh at February 29, 2004 04:28 AMhow did you get here? isn't it illegal to go in the subway yards?
Posted by Emily at February 29, 2004 08:45 AMoutstanding shot. brilliant colours.
@emily: ah c'mon! isn't it illegal to download music or use a cracked photoshop version? never went nightswimming? 8)
Posted by chris at February 29, 2004 10:24 AMthis is a splendid photo. it made my morning.
Posted by Mark at February 29, 2004 11:01 AMVery nice. The one empty track going off into the distance makes it for me.
Posted by Mark at February 29, 2004 11:14 AMWhat's funny about the internet is I assume a lot that no one is ever from the same are of the world that I am. So when I found this picture via NetDiver, I immediately thought "Hey, that looks like the TTC!" and it turned out that it was indeed Davisville. Anyway, great pic.
Posted by Liz at February 29, 2004 11:25 AMI really like this. It looks like a painting. Well done!
Posted by Eric at February 29, 2004 01:52 PMthe colors are excellent and vibrant
Posted by ( kandi cook ) at February 29, 2004 03:54 PMThere's a difference between trespassing and downloading music.. and a ttc yard, you can't just walk into during broad daylight.
Posted by Emily at February 29, 2004 06:02 PMBut who made this about breaking laws anyway? I was just wondering. If he asked to take a pic, they prolly let him do it. and a cool pic it is!
Posted by Emily at February 29, 2004 06:03 PMI don't know what it is about this photo but I've been sitting here looking at it for quite awhile.. I love it..
Posted by Kim at February 29, 2004 09:42 PMYou can see the yard from the platform at the station, as the platform is outside. I've never looked this closely mind you, but it may be possible without trespassing.
Posted by cmb at March 1, 2004 05:51 PMthe train its beatiful
Posted by salo at March 2, 2004 08:05 PMthis would be an easy shot to take from the south-west corner of the passenger platform at davisville station - no need to trespass onto the tracks - especially with a zoom lens and a tripod - we're probably not seeing the entire frame, either.
Posted by hamish at March 4, 2004 10:38 AMso what? this is something beautiful, and i admire the fact that he realised it and took this picture.
Posted by Jack at March 7, 2004 01:01 PMExact... Different point of view
