Posted by Roozbeh at February 4, 2004 03:35 AMHey, hang in there! Spring will come!
I lived a year in Montreal, from January to the next January. It was an fantastic experience, but the winters were really difficult for me, since I grew up in green, green Oregon.
I love your pictures because they remind me of the beauty and the power of a northern winter.
So, got have a look at some pictures of spring in California here: http://www.nella.org/gallery/flowers2003 . I took these last April. We'll all make it to April 2004... hold on just a few more months! For now, keep turning out those beautiful pictures of winter.
Posted by Jeff Allen at February 4, 2004 03:40 AMAlthough I know you didn't, it looks like you turned the saturation waaaay up - because after weeks and weeks of seeing nothing but white here in Toronto, grass just looks...surreal.

Posted by effat at February 4, 2004 09:02 AMNice colors. Trees are red, but grass is green. Good idea to divide the picture.
Posted by Medhi at February 4, 2004 09:19 AMAh, this picture made me happy... Such a difference from what I see I see outside my window.
Posted by WhiteChocolate at February 4, 2004 09:45 AMSeeing the snow all dirty this morning got me depressed. I love winter so much, but pictures like these take you right back to the beautiful colors of the fall and enlighten your spirits right away. I love it and I definitely know why I keep coming here everyday.
Posted by Riri at February 4, 2004 10:08 AMNice colors.... beautiful
Posted by noy at February 4, 2004 10:12 AMI sat on that bench! I'm really looking forward to spring now! Your work is great. Thanks.
Posted by EGF at February 4, 2004 11:38 AMI sat on that bench too. I even took pictures this fall at Stong pond.
But this one has better colours then the ones I took.
People say York is ugly, but I find there is beauty there.
Keep on taking pics.
Posted by jacques at February 4, 2004 12:53 PMI did not know until I saw the picture what toronto looked like! Now, I am planning on heading straight into the lake headlong... Its beautiful
