Posted by carol at January 25, 2004 03:04 AMu r right! he's one of the best new artist.
Posted by Roozbeh at January 25, 2004 05:14 AMThe place is deserted. Tables empty, esculators vacant. Where is everyone?
Posted by emma at January 25, 2004 05:37 AMOnly Sam can snap a shot which nobody is in the scene, even in rush hours! :) (Or maybe he post-processes them afterward! ;P )
Posted by ila at January 25, 2004 06:44 AMEmma, BCE Place is in the financial district. If he took this picture yesterday, there wouldn't be anyone there because of it being the weekend. Either that or Ila's right and he removes them afterwards. :-)
cmb
Ila ! post processing to remove people ? it's easier to shout THERE IS A BOMB IN THE BUILDING and then take the picture ! I bet this is sam's technique. ;)
And where is the colour Sam ?
ahh so beautiful! i love the BCE place! and your pictures just make me love it more
Posted by ecila at January 25, 2004 10:58 AMvery trippy, especially taken in relative darkness (I assume) I am only ever there in the daylight so have not seen this side of the cathedral...

Posted by Anonymous at February 2, 2004 03:02 AMFirstly, i think the people comming to this site can't spend much time out and about in Toronto cause anyone walking around downtown enough times knows that BCE empties out at about 7ish. After which it becomes this deserted place we see in these photos. The fast food places close up early and only the small area around marche has a few hungry people sitting around outside it. you nailed it with these photos.. this is the symetry is finally there. i still think this building has a great deal more images to give. try the old bank thats inside the new building in BCE the contrast is interesting architecturally and i think can grant a series of great shots.
