Your site is the first page I visit in the morning, as I have for years. I will miss the color and perspective it gives to the rest day. Thank you for sharing with us.

Posted by Jeremy at May 7, 2013 08:35 AMMy all time favorite was the night time Flatiron shot. http://wvs.topleftpixel.com/09/11/11/ You managed to invigorate Toronto's most cliché photo spot.

Posted by effat at May 7, 2013 10:27 PMI'm so sad to hear you're stopping the site but thank you for so many wonderful years! I've been following it almost since the beginning. I love starting my day with a shot of my home city, some of them familiar, others entirely from a new perspective. I lived abroad for four and a half years and having ddoi as my homepage was like having a little piece of home with me. You truly capture the life and beauty of Toronto. Thank you, Sam.
Posted by Melissa at May 8, 2013 09:41 PMI will miss DDOI when it retires July 4th. I have been a fan of your work for over 6 years!
Posted by Quinn Dunham at May 10, 2013 10:41 AMI have really enjoyed learning about your city. i shall miss it very much as it has been my daily lunchtime stop for some years now. Do you know of any other sites like yours? - you have been an inspiration to lots of photographers and a great ambassador for Toronto
Posted by david keward at May 15, 2013 09:39 AMIt's sad to hear you'll stop posting photos, your site really gave me a lot of inspiration on photography, and also in seeing beauty in our every day life, our very city.
