Comments: snowy park

I just stumbled upon you via the Recently Updated part of MT. As a Texas girl images of snow are always exotic and beautiful to me...this one was no exception.
Thanks for sharing.

Snapping with FlashLight and slow shutter speed might give the result you were looking for.

I love this! I love the glow from the lights in the background. It does look peaceful....too bad it's so freakin' cold right now...eek! you can't even really enjoy the snow much.

I took a similar picture down the road from you in London. This is my backyard after our latest snow fall. Like your photo, its actually snowing, but the long shutter removed the falling snow.

I don't know what's worse: -27 degrees or days of endless rain... At least snow gives you pretty pictures like this one. Unfortunately I'm not a great rain photographer, but considering the recent weather, maybe I should try a little harder (although today was dry, luckily).

Awesome shot sam. Like a winter wonderland. It took me 2 and a half hours to get home in traffic that night. MaDnEsS!

This is beautiful. You definitely suffer for your art, though. Like Gainesborough tying himself to the bow of a ship so that he could paint seascapes with a greater understanding. Here's hoping Spring comes to Toronto early this year ...

Nice photo sam, it's been visciously cold in toronto the last couple of days after a foot of snow fell in 24 hours. I wouldn't say downtown toronto isn't safe though, I live at queen and john and went out at 2am with tripod to go on a picture mission and wasn't bothered or threatened at all, the only people I saw were friendly.

you can see how much snow fell from this picture of my deck, the table was clear a couple of days ago, on the left you can see my BBQ ready for action!

tonight when i was coming back home from school in -40 deg. of montreal, i just thought of your outdoor photos in the cold winter of toronto... and found it literally impossible to take a photo from all the frozen streets and people with their head tucked in their collars and scarfs passing by as quick as possible... no it's virtually impossible, man... :)
