I've lived in toronto for almost two years and I've never been down one of these tunnels! I've been freezing my posterior off on the streets, these tunnels should be in a guidebox they hand out to new arrivals at pearson airport!!

great pic :)

Great shot Sam, and what a rush of memories. I used to work in this area and it's been so many years since I've seen this corridot (I can almost smell the stuff they use to polish the floors)! It still looks modern and new, and you captured it here perfectly.

wow! you have underground corridors in torronto? that is remarkable...

Ila, Toronto is not even close to being clean and bright! It's just Sam's pictures that make it look so!

I've been living in Toronto for a few months now, and trust me, it is NOT a clean city (at least the downtown area isn't), this passage is a rare exception. If you want clean, you should go to Vancouver.

nice shot btw.

It's the sky path from Union Station to the Skydome.

Only problem is that the path is a busted business idea.

That place used to be full of shops and advertising. But now since sports and events at the dome are pretty much dead or happen in the evening, they just all went under.

Toronto? Clean? if you find Quandong area in China 'clean', then Toronto is also clean (their inhabitants are very similar).

BUT, it's safe.

Wow! Great photo! Looks like it belongs in TIME magazine - or National Geographic. Very much a "classic" sensibility to it, too!

this is not a typical walkway, as it is mostly for the crowds going to see hockey etc. There is quite a large underground walkway system downtown which is great in the winter. This pic reminds me a bit of BCE place, though BCE is more impressive...like a cathedral. Have you got pictures of the BCE Place?

really great pictures as ususal!
