Posted by Miles at May 28, 2012 09:29 AMWhen the United States... oy vey. Okay, so anyhow, just thought you'd want to know that the plane on the right looks more European than American. It looks like it has canards near the cockpit, which is something found on the French Dassault Rafale. The other plane I'm not so sure about, but there are plenty of photos of cutting-edge US planes on the web, so you can get a better silhouette. Maybe make one a stealth bomber (although those usually attack at night) and the other an F-22 fighter.
Of course, if this already is submitted, which I suppose it probably is, then never mind! Good luck with it!

Posted by Begonia at May 30, 2012 03:04 AMAmusing. Nicely made. This scenario will never happen in that time line though.
Besides the last time the US invaded and occupied Toronto(then known as York - war of 1812), we burned down the white house and much of washington DC in retaliation. We were outnumbered and outgunned in 1812 and gave them a hell of a fight that they will do well to remember.
Happily, our relations are way too good now to even fathom another war. We are two sensible countries that have far more to gain in peace with eachother. We have developed beyond the need for armed conflict to resolve differences with eachother.
Posted by Scott at May 30, 2012 09:49 AM"Happily, our relations are way too good now" — Our relations are such that we have economically (and as a result culturally) tied ourselves to the U.S. to such a ridiculous degree that there is no need for them to invade us as they already have in many, many, other ways. Lol.
Awesome photo!
