For bonus points: Calculate the rate of Sam's panning based on the oscillation of the lights visible.

This is fabulous! It looks like a woven piece of art. I think I see a star just near the top of the clouds, in the centre?

Hey, I added you on Google+ if that's alright. Guess what? I've been using micro four thirds since 2009 as well. And I really do like your work and your inspiration. so if we ever get a chance to network and communicate about photography, I'd be honored. Otherwise, I love your work Sam, and the effort you put into it. Thanks!

Absolutely breathtaking. One of your best ever.

I just happened to be looking at the most expensive photo ever sold, Andreas Gurky's Rhein II, online on Wikipedia, and I guess it got me in the mood for horizontal, beautifully-balanced and -coloured near-abstract compositions.

Yours is the one I'd like 81 x 140 inches on my wall.
