(as always) great photo. Was this taken with a wide angle lens (10/12mm)? A lot of your images seem to go on and on, I presume this is from using a wide angle?
I'm thinking of getting one, have a 17-50mm f2.8 but think a true wide angle could be lots of fun.

It is legal for pedestrians to cross the street mid-block anywhere in Toronto as long as:

a) they are not adjacent to a marked pedestrian crossing, and
b) they yield to traffic.

This legal situation is a combination of Ontario law, through the Highway Traffic Act, and City of Toronto by-laws.

It is legal for pedestrians to cross at uncontrolled locations (e.g. mid-block) in Ontario, provided they exercise due care.
